I’m not dating Mompha, says Bobrisky

Nigerian crossdresser, Idris Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky, has denied being in a relationship with Instagram sensation, Ismaila Mustapha, alias Mompha.

Born a male, the crossdresser, however, identifies as female, and has been rumoured to have a relationship with Mompha.

The rumour that both were dating went viral on Friday when, Bobrisky’s ex-aide, Kyme Oye, while answering a follower’s question on Bobrisky’s relationship status via her Instagram stories, claimed the two were dating.

In response, Mompha threatened to sue her for defamation if she refused to take down the post.

In a publicised private chat, he further requested Bobrisky to publicly debunk the claims which the crossdresser refused.

However, in a joint Instagram live session held on Saturday, popular radio presenter Daddy Freeze in a call with both parties, requested that Bobrisky “clear Mompha in the matter.”

In response, Bobrisky said, “This thing never happened. I and Mompha we are only friends. Nothing is happening. This is the last time I’m going to say this, Mompha and I are just friends and nothing more.”

Bobrisky also claimed that Mompha’s wife can confirm that the relationship between them is platonic.

Speaking in pidgin, Mompha said there was no evidence of himself and Bobrisky being in a relationship. He also stated that he had only physically seen Bobrisky twice in his life.

He further claimed he had warned Bob to stop posting his pictures and captioning it with endearments as he was a married man.
