
It was a day of celebration as all road led to Ndeagbo ancient community of Aninri, Enugu state as his royal highness, Igwe Benedict Nnajiofor Eze, Ezeagbo (VI) Ezeoha of Ndeagbo ancient kingdom celebrated his 70th birthday and first Ofala festival.

The grand event and double celebration which was held on the 22nd of December at Ndeagbo kingdom saw the attendance of several dignitaries and respected men in Enugu and beyond.

Igwe Benedict who was first made the traditional prime minister in the year 1984 under the leadership of Ezeagbo (V) and later enthroned as the Igwe in 2003 has not only been an experienced leader with many years behind him, but has also been a good leader.

Due to his reputation as a leader known for unquestionable integrity, it was not a surprise to many as he bestowed chieftaincy title to a lot of deserving persons, some of which included Dr. Mrs Nwanneka Ekweremadu, Hon. Toby Okechukwu and his wife, Mrs Uche Okechukwu, Hon. Dennis Oguerinwa Amadi and his wife, Mrs Ifeyinwa Amadi, Hon. Okwu Chinedu Otaka amongst others.
