Igboho’s aides: DSS withdraws bid to revoke bail

The Federal High Court sitting in Abuja on Tuesday struck out the application by the Department of State Service seeking to revoke the bail earlier granted to four of the detained aides of Sunday Adeyemo, popularly known as Sunday Igboho.

The order striking out the application came after the lawyer to the DSS, Idowu Awo, informed the court of his intention to withdraw the application.

The application earlier filed had sought to revoke the bail granted to four of the 12 detained Igboho’s aides.

Awo noted that the reason for the withdrawal was because the DSS had already filed an appeal challenging the bail granted to four of the aides at the Court of Appeal, hence there was no need to continue with the application before the Federal High Court.
