Identity of Major abducted by bandits at NDA uncovered

The identity of the Major who was kidnapped by bandits at the Nigerian Defence Academy in the early hours of Tuesday August 24, has been uncovered. 

The abducted military officer has been identified as Major Christopher Datong. A friend who confirmed his abduction, wrote; 

While still mourning my Mother, the news of the abduction of a friend, colleague and classmate in the university of Jos department of Architecture from 1997 to 2005 filters in. Arc Christopher Datong alongside few of our classmates joined the NDA after our MSc and are currently serving in the Army, Airforce and Navy. He is the officer abducted after the bandits attacked the Nigeria Defence Academy in Kaduna. I pray for you Major Christopher Datong and wish you will be reunited with your family and friends.
