Ice Prince Opens Up on Dramatic Weight Loss: “No Sickness, Just Bad Habits”

Nigerian singer and rapper, Ice Prince has explained the reason for his drastic weight, clarifying that he is not sick.

The ‘Oleku’ crooner explained that he gained excess belly weight due to an unhealthy lifestyle and recently decided to loose weight due to concerns from family and friends.

Speaking on his weight loss journey in a post on X on Monday, Ice Prince shared that producer Chopstix assisted him during the process by encouraging him to exercise.

He wrote, “God so good inna me life… A short story!

“[I] was literally about to explode.. no sickness ( Bless God ) just bad habits and choices, but then Chopstix and Dami said ‘let’s loose the belly Ice’ and that really sparked something in my brain that got me activated.. from that meeting, my brother chopstix started coming to my house everyday after dinner and we both walked my estate for an hour and unoo chopper gist na normally for Phd students lol but our talks during those walks are priceless to me, as every other thing we’ve both talked about since we were kids !!! buss a shot fa ma true fren”

In recent times, several Nigerian celebrities have made headlines over drastic weight loss.

In 2022, former plus-sized actress Eniola Badmus lost an incredible 80 kilograms, going from 170kg to her current 90kg.

Earlier this year, another actress, Mercy Johnson-Okojie was subjected to public scrutiny after her dramatic weight loss. She later explained that her weight loss was due to medical reasons, revealing that she had a thyroid operation and it even sparked cancer scare
