I have evidence, both video and audio – Nigerian Catholic Nun accuses priests of sexual harassment (video)

A dismissed Catholic nun, Rev. Sr. Anastasia Kinse, has accused a priest within the Catholic Church of s@xually ass@ulting her, saying that she has evidence to back up her claims.

Speaking on Arise TV on Monday, October 13, Sr. Anastasia, who previously served under the Auchi Catholic Diocese in Edo State, claimed she was dismissed after she exposed an alleged s3xual misconduct by priests.

The former nun said she joined the Congregation of Mother of Perpetual Help of the Archangels Sisters in 2015 but soon began facing challenges after reporting incidents of alleged sexu@l advances by priests. She said that in 2016, a priest invited her to spend a week with him at his parish, which she declined, while another allegedly put his belt around her waist under the guise of taking her measurements for clothes.

According to her, the psychological impact of these incidents was later described by Church authorities as “madness,” leading to her dismissal from both her congregation and her teaching role.

“I find it very funny when I was asked for evidence, but in our world today, imagine me coming out, calling names and talking doesn’t make any sense.

It’s not as if the evidences that I was sexu@lly harassed by a priest do not exist, they do, but I cannot put them out there. I have a video and an audio recording that shows where the Veritas HOD harassed me. I joined the congregation of Mother of Perpetual Help of the Archangels Sisters in 2015. After that I experienced so many challenges and I had always confided in my Superior-General and my Bishop.

The issue has been that I was always complaining, according to them. First, I wrote to the bishop that the priest was always shouting at me whenever I came to the office to talk to him.

I told my superior about a priest I was living in the same compound with, that on a fateful day I went into his room and he tried to touch me and I don’t just understand if that’s a norm and my superior told me to ignore him.

There was a priest in 2016 that said I should go with him in his car to his parish for a week and I felt that shouldn’t happen.

And another priest put his belt on my waist trying to check the size of the clothes he would get me when I visit him, and that broke me, gave me a lot of trauma which is what they termed madness,” she said
