How to Deliver Peter Obi: Abia ADC Chairman Emphasizes E-Registration Over Rallies

Chairman of African Democratic Congress, ADC, in Abia State, Don Norman Obinna has urged the members of the party in the State and other lovers of Mr. Peter Obi in the South-East to participate in the ongoing online e-registration to boost Mr Peter Obi’s chances.

According to him, the former Labour Party Presidential candidate may not win the party’s presidential primary election unless he gets a high number of votes during the primary election.

Obinna was speaking on Saturday in Umuahia as a special guest during the inauguration of executive members of Coalition for the Protection of Democracy, COPDEM, for Ikwuano, Umuahia North and Umuahia South LGAs.

The ADC Chairman regretted that the current chart of membership registration figures in ADC is showing that about 400,000 persons have registered in Abia State so far, while Adamawa State figure is heading to about 1 million persons.

“It is not just about wanting Peter Obi to be President, the question should be how do we deliver Peter Obi.

“Even the ADC online registration, Abia is about 400,000 in the chart while Adamawa is about 1 million. If the primary election is conducted today, will Peter Obi win, that is my question,” he said.

He urged the members of COPDEM and ADC members at large to drive the sensitization, insist on good governance and quality leadership.

Also speaking during the inauguration, the Chairman of COPDEM in Abia State, Prince Solomon and a House of Representatives aspirant for Ikwuano/Umuahia Federal constituency, Ogbonna Abarikwu charged Nigerians to reject bad leadership.
