Home Alone actor Daniel Stern charged with soliciting prostitution

Daniel Stern, best known for playing Marv in Home Alone, has been criminally charged following his arrest last month in California.

According to Daily Mail, court records show the 68-year-old actor was charged with a misdemeanor for allegedly soliciting prostitution. He is scheduled to be arraigned on Tuesday, though prosecutors say his lawyer is expected to appear on his behalf.

Stern was reportedly cited by police after an incident at a hotel in Camarillo, California. He was not booked or photographed and was instead issued a citation.

The charge comes months after Stern was hospitalised in October following a medical emergency at his home. He was later released and confirmed to be in good health.

In recent years, Stern has stepped away from Hollywood and now lives on a farm, where he grows tangerines.
