Heavy security presence at Buhari’s residence as grave-digging begins (photos)

There is heavy security presence at the Daura, Kaduna State, residence of late President Muhammadu Buhari as they await his body.

 

The body of the late President is expected to be flown in from London any moment now.

 

 

 

At Buhari’s Daura residence, on Tuesday morning, July 15, officials of the Department of State Services (DSS) and men of the Nigerian Army were seen stationed at the entrance, DailyTrust reports.

 

Policemen and men of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) were also positioned at strategic places.

 

A source from the compound confirmed to the publication that the digging of grave had commenced.

 

 

 

When Buhari’s body arrives, he will be received by President Bola Tinubu at Umaru Musa Yar’adua Airport in Katsina.
