Grammy Award or not, Oga still remains the best deal – Isreal DMW reacts to his boss, Davido, losing to South Africa’s Tyla at the 2026 Grammys

Isreal DMW has reacted to his boss, Davido’s loss at the 2026 Grammys which held in Los Angeles on Sunday, February 1.

 

 

 

Davido, who was nominated in the Best African Music Performance category alongside South Africa’s Tyla, Burna Boy (Love), Davido featuring Omah Lay (With You), Ayra Starr featuring Wizkid (Gimme Dat), and Eddy Kenzo & Mehran Matin (Hope & Love), lost to Tyla’s Push to Start,

 

 

 

Some Nigerians have expressed disappointment that Davido did not win.

 

 

 

Isreal took to his Instagram page this morning to express his thoughts. He argued that Grammy or not, his boss remains the “best deal.” He wrote;

 

‘’Grammy Award or not, Oga still remains the Best Deal Mad, Back to Back Hit Shiits Continues. Una go hear sweet music taya”
