Gang leader falls off balcony to his death while trying to flee cops

A notorious Tren de Aragua gang leader hiding out in Colombia plunged to his de@th after slipping off an eighth-floor balcony while attempting to flee authorities raiding his apartment.

Ender Alexis Rojas Montan, a 31-year-old leader of the gang’s Alayon Dynasty branch, fell from an eight stories building and appeared to di£ on impact, according to video footage obtained by NewsX.

Rojas Montan tried to make a speedy escape from the apartment in Antioquia, Colombia on Oct. 9 as Colombian National Police officials were busting down his door with a battering ram, according to cops’ body camera footage.

The gang boss was briefly seen trying to scale the balcony’s railing in an attempt to reach the floor below. Instead, he lost his grip and took a nosedive all the way down to the concrete sidewalk, according to the footage.

An officer who looked over the railing captured a clear view of Rojas Montan’s bloodied corpse as he lay on the sidewalk while a plain-clothed pedestrian watched on in horror, according to the body camera video.

A squad of at least five officers burst into the apartment with their guns drawn as they ordered the suspects to get down.

A shirtless man sitting on the couch quickly slid to his knees and kept his hands in the air while a small dog scampered around the authorities’ feet, the footage shows.

Another person was found in a connecting bedroom attempting to conceal themselves beneath a thick blanket.

As authorities rifled through the apartment, they found multiple concealed contrabands, including a fragmentation grenade and a pound of amphetamine valued at $9,550, NewsX reported.

Three other alleged members of the criminal organization — Luis Alberto Cabeza Calderon, Yonathan Samuel Urbina Rodriguez, and Daviannys del Jesus Moya Avila — were arrested at the scene. The trio all hail from Venezuela, a Colombian police director told local outlet La Vanguardia.

Cabeza Calderon, whose alias is “Toro,” is one of the most trusted allies of Tren de Aragua’s top leader, Hector Rusthenford Guerrero Flores, according to El Colombiano. The head honcho himself has been wanted in Peru since 2023 for various crimes, including extortion and drug trafficking.

The October raid, dubbed “Operation Shadow 3,” was carried out by Colombian, Chilean, and Peruvian authorities with backing from the US Drug Enforcement Agency and Ameripol, NewsX reported.

Rojas Montan was wanted by international authorities for aggravated kidnapping and his criminal association with the larger Tren de Aragua gang, which was founded in Venezuela and even garnered support from some of the country’s corrupt officials.

Police said that the trio of surviving suspects arrested in the raid was allegedly involved in the gang’s expansion and tasked with managing synthetic drug distributions, extortion networks, and sexual exploitation operations.

Rojas Montan fled Chile in June 2024 and quickly relocated to Colombia while allegedly working to expand the gang’s operations into the Aburra Valley.
