Galatasaray Star Praised as ‘Osimhen-Level Valuable’ After Liverpool Clash

 

Football commentator and Turkish journalist, Haluk Yürekli, has suggested a Galatasaray player who is as valuable as Victor Osimhen after the Turkish Super Lig giants recently defeated Liverpool in the Champions League.

According to Yürekli, Çakır gave a display as valuable as the Nigerian international for Galatasaray against Arne Slot’s men, calling on the Turkish Super Lig champions not to sell the 29-year-old shot-stopper to any English Premier League club.

He spoke while speaking on the 343 Digital YouTube channel.

“Uğurcan Çakır is delivering a performance as valuable as Osimhen’s.

“If I were the decision-maker at Galatasaray, I would not sell Çakır for €50million, even to an English club.”

Çakır will hope to continue his impressive display for Galatasaray when they face Liverpool in the return leg next week.
