Galatasaray President Confirms No Release Clause in Victor Osimhen’s Contract

Galatasaray president Dursun Ozbek has revealed that there is no release clause in Victor Osimhen’s contract.

Osimhen joined the Turkish Super Lig champions on a permanent transfer this summer after spending last season on loan under Okan Buruk. Galatasaray had triggered the €75 million release clause in the Nigerian forward’s contract to sign him from Napoli.

There had been speculation that Galatasaray included a new release clause in Osimhen’s deal, but Ozbek has dismissed those rumours.

“Osimhen’s contract doesn’t include an exit clause,” Ozbek said during a sponsorship press conference on Friday. “He’s an extremely successful player who will serve Galatasaray for many years to come.”
