Full list of winners from BET Awards 2020

The BET awards 2020 held a virtual ceremony due to the coronavirus pandemic. The 2020 edition of the show not only marked its 20th anniversary but the network also celebrated its 40th year on TV.

Hosted by “Insecure” actress Amanda Seales, the award ceremony celebrated black excellence and talent in music, sports, film, and more.

The show saw the audience see the teaser trailer for Aretha Franklin’s upcoming biopic “Respect.”

There was also special award categories like the BET Her Award, which went to “Brown Skin Girl” by Beyoncé, Blue Ivy, WizKid, and Saint Jhn, for its uplifting message.

WizKid’s win alongside Beyonce makes him the Nigerian artiste with the most BET awards to his name.
