From Campus Innovation to Capital Deployment — Enugu Is Building the Future.

The 1st Edition of the Enugu Campus Hackathon was not merely a competition — it was the launch of a structured, detailed accelerator programme designed to institutionalise an investment-ready venture pipeline in Enugu State.

This is a disciplined founder development and capital deployment platform, built to identify, formalise, accelerate, and fund high-potential startups emerging from our universities.

Here are the teams leading that momentum:

*1st Place – Growdex*
An AI-powered ad automation platform enabling creators and businesses to launch, manage, and optimize multi-channel digital campaigns from one unified dashboard.
Award: $5,000 investment grant + 6 months incubation support with Genesys Tech Hub (valued at over $10,000).

*2nd Place – ZaddyExpress (Team High Flyer)*
A tech-enabled logistics and on-demand delivery platform delivering fast, reliable last-mile solutions.
Award: $3,500 investment grant + 6 months incubation support with Genesys Tech Hub.

*3rd Place – Linia Finance*
A fintech platform providing accessible, data-driven credit and financial management tools for MSMEs and underserved individuals.
Award: $2,500 investment grant + 6 months incubation support with Genesys Tech Hub.

*DeepTech Winner – ANBU GynaeCare*
(In partnership with the African DeepTech Foundation)
A health-tech startup developing biodegradable sanitary pads from banana fibers to combat period poverty while reducing plastic waste through sustainable innovation.
Award: $2,500 investment grant + 6 months incubation support with Genesys Tech Hub (valued at over $10,000).

Under the leadership of His Excellency, Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, Enugu State is deliberately transitioning from a $4.4 billion economy to a $30 billion productivity-led economy, anchored on technology, human capital development, and structured capital deployment.

Through the Enugu MSME & Startup Agency, we are not organising events.
We are building venture infrastructure.
We are accelerating founders.
We are deploying capital with discipline.

For investors, partners, development agencies, and ecosystem leaders interested in supporting or engaging with these startups:
