From Bootcamp to Big Stage: Final 11 Innovators Set to Unveil Game-Changing Ideas in Enugu

A new wave of innovation is gaining momentum as eleven outstanding teams emerge from an intensive technology bootcamp, ready to showcase transformative solutions aimed at addressing real-world challenges.

After weeks of rigorous training at Genesys Tech Hub, the selected finalists — drawn from hundreds of applicants — have sharpened their ideas through mentorship, collaboration, and practical execution. Their projects span critical sectors including technology, education, healthcare, business, sustainability, and community development, reflecting the growing influence of youth-driven innovation.

The initiative aligns with the digital transformation vision championed by Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, whose administration continues to prioritize innovation and youth empowerment in Enugu State. Through structured support from the Enugu MSME & Startup Agency, the campus hackathon programme is steadily creating pathways that convert creative student ideas into viable enterprises and sustainable economic opportunities.

Organisers say the grand finale will not only crown top innovators but also set the tone for the upcoming Enugu Tech Festival scheduled later in February — a week dedicated to celebrating technology, entrepreneurship, and forward-thinking solutions.

The finale is slated for February 20, 2026, at 10:00 AM at the International Conference Centre Enugu, where stakeholders, investors, policymakers, and technology enthusiasts are expected to witness pitches that could shape the region’s digital future.

With anticipation building, attention now turns to which of the eleven teams will rise to the top — and how their ideas may influence innovation, enterprise growth, and youth empowerment in the state and beyond.
