French police foil plot to kidnap Nigerian businesswoman, Kika Osunde in Paris

Police have foiled an alleged plot to kidnap Nigerian businesswoman, Kika Osunde, in Montparnasse, southern part of Paris, France and arrested three men.

 

 

 

American journalist resident in Paris, Louis Pisano, who disclosed this via X on Friday, September 5, 2025 said the suspects planned to disguise themselves as deliverymen to abduct Osunde.

 

 

 

 

“Paris police just foiled a kidnapping attempt on Nigerian luxury fashion influencer Kika Osunde yesterday who recently moved to Paris,” he wrote.

 

 

 

 

“On Sept 4 in Montparnasse, the Search & Intervention Brigade arrested 3 men who planned to abduct her in broad daylight, disguised as deliverymen,” he wrote.

 

 

 

“Police suspect the men tracked her via her social media posts, drawn by her high-profile lifestyle. The Paris prosecutor’s office has launched an investigation into the attempted kidnapping.”
