Flooding: Lagos state government remove houses blocking free flow of water in Lekki

In a bid to curtail the perennial flooding in the state, operatives from Drainage Enforcement and Compliance Department of the Lagos State Ministry of the Environment and Water Resources on Friday, September 26, commenced the removal of contravening structures blocking the free flow of stormwater along Ikota River alignment, Lekki, Eti-osa.

 

 

 

 

Recall that during the week, the state witnessed heavy flooding that took over many peoples homes, destroyed their properties as well the cars of commuters.
