Nigerian, Apex highlife/Afro pop Musician, Lyricist and multi talented Instrumentalist, Flavour N’abania, has revealed the possiblity of launching an album, post COVID-19 pandemic.

Ijele, as he is Fondly known, spoke to UGAMATV in an exclusive interview, after a visit to the proposed site of his envisaged Ijele Shrine, at Ugbo dam in Ugbonabo town of Awgu local government area.

The Enugu born multiple award winning, Sensational Singer, has to his credit six record setting albums, namely: N’abania (2005),  Uplifted (2010), Blessed (2012),  Thankful (2014),  Ijele the Traveler (2017),  Awele (2018), since the inception of his music career in 2005, with several other Hit singles.

In addition to this musical feats, he has disclosed the likelihood of launching a new album, in the nearest future.

We will like to know, the effects of COVID-19 pandemic on you as a person, and the Nigerian music industry

It affected everyone, both in the positively and Negatively. For me, I have seen the Negative aspect and positive aspect, because it has stopped the world, everyone is going through one or two in their own ground.

However, for me, my take out of this whole pandemic is that I have spent a lot of time travelling, now I get to take a break, reflect on my life, spend some time with family, my kids get to see me, it has never been like that, I mostly speak with them over Video calls, then I took time to make deep music, not just music on the go, now I am properly relaxed, it gave me time to work with the best guys, listen to myself over and over again, I have an album coming out, so I have all the time to invest into the album, trust me it’s gonna be dope. It’s all God’s plan, we do hope for the best. To everyone out there, stay safe because life is the most important, only the living achieve dreams, if you aren’t staying safe, you might have a problem, at the same time, I am trying to keep safe and take good care of myself and the people around me, wherever I go, I am on my mask, I only took it out to speak to you, we should also observe the physical and social distance.

Very soon, very soon, that is because, since the lockdown due to the COVID-19 pandemic started, I have been working, I  very much ready, not to disclose everything to you, but the name will be published in about three weeks time, so watch out and see for yourself.
