First Lady Oluremi Tinubu Says Nigeria Will Not Bow to Insurgency

First Lady Oluremi Tinubu says Nigeria is too strong and resilient to be intimidated by insurgents.

She stated this on Saturday during a meeting with members of the Ekiti State Traditional Rulers’ Council at the Government House in Ado-Ekiti.

The First Lady expressed confidence that the country’s security challenges will soon be overcome.

She noted that the President remains committed to addressing insecurity across the country and is working tirelessly to ensure lasting peace.

She acknowledged the assistance Nigeria continues to receive from foreign partners in tackling security threats, expressing optimism that the situation would improve significantly in the near future.

“Nigerians are too great to be intimidated by insurgents. Let us remain hopeful and continue to pray for the nation.

“God would not abandon the country in its efforts to overcome its challenges,” she said.
