“Fetish” items found in car of two suspected ritualists who caused accident by driving against traffic

Two men who caused an accident along an expressway have been accused of being ritualists after fetish objects were found in their car.

The men were said to have driven against traffic, causing an accident at Okpanam Junction, Asaba, Delta state. The car they hit went up in flames but no life was lost.

When locals searched the car of the men who took one-way, they found fetish objects which they said made the car smell as though there was a corpse in it.

The men were placed in handcuffs. One of them was wearing white and he had blood stains on his white robe following the accident.

Locals accused the men of taking one-way because they wanted to avoid a situation whereby their car will be searched and the items they were transporting will be discovered.

When queried, the man in a white blood stained robe said the “fetish” items in the car belong to someone.
