fans hail Cavani AS RONALDO REACTS TO MAN UNITED’S NO. 7 JERSEY

Manchester United announced on Thursday that Cristiano Ronaldo will wear the iconic no.7 shirt after returning to Old Trafford.

This is as Cavani adopted the number he proudly wears for his beloved Uruguay– 21 – following the departure of its former owner Daniel James to Leeds United.

Cavani’s gesture has earned him gesture from Ronaldo and other Manchester United fans.

Ronaldo said, in a statement, “I wasn’t sure if it would be possible to have the number seven shirt again. So I would like to say a huge thank you to Edi (Cavani) for this incredible gesture.”

Fans also commended  El Matador on Manchester United’s official Facebook page.
