Nigerian rapper and actor, Folarin “Falz” Falana, has dismissed widespread rumors suggesting that he secretly tied the knot, clarifying that his recent viral wedding-themed photos were merely part of a creative project.
The speculation began after Falz shared a series of traditional wedding-style pictures online, sparking excitement and debate among fans who assumed the images were from a real marriage ceremony.
Reacting via his Instagram account, Falz explained that the photos were for a shoot, not a wedding. He playfully noted that the frenzy might have unintended consequences in the future.
“When everybody realized I wasn’t really married, people kept saying it’s a case of the boy who cried wolf. Maybe when I do get married, nobody will care,” he joked.
Falz further emphasized that he owes no one details of his personal life, stressing that his marriage, whenever it happens, may not necessarily be public knowledge.
“It is bold of you to actually assume that if I’m actually getting married, I will share it,” he said.
However, he left the door open to the possibility of sharing the milestone publicly, admitting that “if love compels me to, I may just put it out there.”
The multi-talented entertainer, known for blending humor with social commentary in his art, continues to maintain a balance between his public career and private life, an approach that has fueled both curiosity and admiration from fans.
