Falz Clarifies His Anti-Governance Campaign Targets None by Name or Party

Nigerian singer, Folarin Falana, professionally known as Falz, has stated that he has never mentioned any politician’s names or political parties in his campaign against bad governance in the country.

Falz stated this while responding to questions whether his campaign against bad governance has ever cost him partnerships or opportunities.

Speaking in his latest interview with Arise 360, the singer disclosed that when a group reached out to his management for partnership, they complained about his campaign against Nigerian politics.

He, however, stated that anyone that has problems with his campaign against bad governance is part of the problems that Nigerians are facing.

While claiming that he had never mentioned any politicians or political party names, he said, “The way I look at that is it was never meant for me. If you feel in any way attacked or feel like what I’m doing is in any way directed at you. Then maybe I don’t even want to be there, maybe I shouldn’t even be there, you know, but what I’m saying is the truth.

“I’m not single handedly picking at anyone to antagonize. What I’m speaking to is the practice and not even really the people in particular. I’ve mentioned no name, I’ve mentioned no political part or whatever. So, in fact what they do say when speaking with my manager was something political, but this is absolutely zero affiliation. I’m just talking about what is going on. If you have a problem with them, then you are the problem”, the singer said.
