Euro 2020: Ronaldo, Schick tied in race for Golden Boot ahead of semi-final ties

Cristiano Ronaldo (Portugal) and Patrik Schick (Czech Republic) are tied in the race to finish in top scorer at the ongoing European Championship.

With both of their countries out, there is every chance that they could be overtaken, particularly in the England-Denmark semi-final match.

Ronaldo and Schick both have five goals apiece.

Romelu Lukaku’s Belgium, Karim Benzema of France and Emil Forsberg’s Sweden, who have all been eliminated too, all have four.

England duo Raheem Sterling and Harry Kane have three each, the same with Denmark’s Kasper Dolberg, while there are nine players left on two goals.

Four of those – Ciro Immobile, Lorenzo Insigne, Manuel Locatelli and Matteo Pessina – come from Italy and will go up against Spain’s Alvaro Morata, Ferran Torres and Pablo Sarabia, while Yussuf Poulsen and Joakim Maehle have netted twice each for the Danes.
