Enugu’s Popular Philanthropist, Okwuluora Kidnapped!

Renowned humanitarian and media personality, Okwuluora, has been reportedly kidnapped in Umuaka, Imo State.

According to reports, Okwuluora had travelled from Enugu State to Umuaka to support a young man, Ikechukwu Chinecherem, who has been battling kidney disease for over a year. The purpose of his journey was purely humanitarian — to raise funds for Ikechukwu’s treatment.

Despite the stress of the long journey, Okwuluora wasted no time upon his arrival. He immediately began a fundraising drive to assist the ailing youth, marking the second time he has provided such support to someone from the Umuaka community with kidney issues.

However, tragedy struck shortly after the event. While returning from the fundraising, Okwuluora was abducted by unknown gunmen and taken into the bush. It was a terrifying experience, but his reputation for kindness and his goodwill among the people ultimately played a role in his release.

Miraculously, he was freed unharmed. He is currently recovering from the trauma and has not yet been able to recount the full details of the incident.

In a brief message relayed through a concerned associate, Okwuluora urged people to continue supporting Ikechukwu, emphasizing that his mission was for both humanity and God’s sake. “God wants Ikechukwu alive,” he reportedly said.

The news of his abduction and release has sparked emotional reactions, with many praising his selflessness and calling for greater support and protection for individuals who dedicate their lives to helping others.

More details are expected to emerge once Okwuluora fully recovers.
