Enugu SME Center Launches WhatsApp Channel to Deepen Digital Access, Empower Entrepreneurs …Mbah administration advances drive for a smarter, digitally connected economy

In another bold stride toward a digitally inclusive economy, the Enugu State Government, through the Enugu SME Center and Office of Digital Economy, has launched its official WhatsApp Channel, designed to connect citizens directly with real-time business, innovation, and empowerment opportunities across the state.

The initiative, unveiled under the visionary leadership of Governor Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, marks a major leap in the administration’s efforts to bridge the information gap, enhance accessibility, and bring governance closer to the people.

According to the management of the Enugu SME Center, the platform will serve as an instant gateway for entrepreneurs, creatives, and professionals to access vital updates on training and skills development, funding and grant opportunities, startup incubation programs, innovation events, and business support services.

“For years, thousands have benefitted from our entrepreneurship and digital economy programs. With this new WhatsApp Channel, we’re ensuring that no one is left behind — every citizen can now stay informed and empowered, right from their phone,” the statement read.

Residents and business owners can now follow the official Enugu SME WhatsApp Channel via bit.ly/ESMEWhatsAppChannel to receive verified updates, opportunities, and government initiatives as they happen.

The center emphasized that the move aligns with Governor Mbah’s vision of building a Smarter, Wealthier, and Digitally-Driven Enugu State, where innovation, technology, and enterprise serve as the cornerstones of sustainable development and youth empowerment.
