In a recent development in ‘making a new Enugu’, the Deputy minority leader and member representing Awgu, Aninri and Oji-Rver federal constituency in a bid to make the lives of his constituents more easier, took a team of engineers and construction experts from Arab Construction Company for an on spot assessments on the Oji River-Achi Road.

The lawmaker who was in the company of the Chairman of Oji River Local Government Area, Hon Chinedu Onyeagba on the 18th March visited the local government in a bid to inspect the level of damages and gullies on the road.

On arrival to different gully spots on the road, Rt. Hon Toby Okechukwu asked the Arab Construction expatriates to quickly repair the road and subsequently bring the design work to his office by next week.

He said that while we wait for the Setraco Construction Company who is already in charge of the Construction of the road through the Awgu/ Mmaku axis to get to the Achi/ Oji River axis, there is need for a serious palliative approach.

Appreciating the lawmaker for his benevolence towards his peoplee, the Oji LG Chairman promised to partner in the said project any where possible to see that the people of Oji River and all other road users ply the said road with ease.
