ENUGU LAWMAKER CONDEMNS THE GRUESOME MURDER OF AN IGBO FARMER BY FULANI HERDSMEN

The chairman house committee on information and communication, Hon Geoffrey Mbah, has shown severe abhorrence towards the murderers of one Mr. Anayo Iloabani, in his farm.

UGAMATV had reported earlier that the farmer was murdered in cold blood by Fulani herdsmen within the axis. He was reportedly not the first victim of such inhumane act.

Hon. Mbah, who also represents Oji river Constituency in Enugu state house of Assembly, could not fathom how human life appeared so cheap in the sight of the perpetrators. He further described the act as wicked and condemnable.

He beckoned on security agents to fish out the culprits without delay. He however,urged the newly recruited Forest guards to be at alert, take necessary actions to avert such future occurrences .

Continuing, He asked his constituents to keep calm and not take matters into their hands. he assured them that the criminals will be apprehended and made to face the full wrath of the law, hopefully justice will be served.
