Offiah, who is also the head of Enugu SME center, explained that the centre had partnered with such establishments as Fenix Intl, Wild Fusion, AutoEase among others to give standard and certified trainings at inexpensive fees.
“These organization also provide job opportunities because they retain most of the trainees that successfully complete their trainings, so all you need is keen interest and determination to create your own success story” he said.
He said it was hoped that the youths in Enugu East will cash in on the opportunity provided by the centre to create jobs for themselves rather than wait on the government for jobs.
In his address, the chairman of Enugu-East LGA, Hon. Okezie Ugwu, expressed gratitude with the programme and hoped that the initiatives will help youths become financially independent.
He thanked the governor of the state, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi for his various contributions towards the development of youths in the state, adding that when youths become independent, crime rate will be reduced.
