El-Rufai Family Confirms Burial Location for Late Matriarch Hajiya Umma

 

 

 

The lawmaker representing Kaduna North Federal Constituency, Hon. Mohammed Bello El-Rufai, has announced the burial rites for the late Hajiya Umma El-Rufai.

 

 

Hajiya Umma was mother to a former governor of Kaduna State, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai.

 

She passed away this week in Cairo, Egypt, following a prolonged illness.

 

 

The family has now confirmed Hajiya Umma will be buried at the Gudu Cemetery in Apo, Abuja, after prayers at the National Mosque in Central Area.

 

Bello, in a statement on Saturday night, said: “In the name of Allah, the most Beneficent, the most Merciful.

 

 

“Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’un.

 

“On behalf of the elders of our family, I have been requested to announce the Janazah Prayer for our dear grandmother, Hajiya Umma El-Rufai, who passed away yesterday.

 

“It will take place at the National Mosque, Central Area, Abuja at 1pm.

 

 

“The burial will follow up at Gudu Cemetery, Apo. Thank you for all the prayers, visits and well wishes.”
