EKWEREMADU, WIFE MOURNS WITH FORMER FCT COMMISSIONER, EKWE AS HE BURIES WIFE

The Former Deputy President of the Senate, and senator representing Enugu West Senatorial zone, Senator Ike Ekweremadu and his wife, on Saturday, the 20th of November went to Obeagu Oduma of Aninri in Enugu state to join his friend and colleague, Prince Chidi Ekwe, a FCT former commissioner for public complaints commission and former local government chairman for Aninri as he laid his wife, Princess Charity Chinyere Ekwe (Oshirioha) to rest in their home town.

Oshirioha lost her life to the cold hands of death on the 22nd of September four days after delivering her baby pre-term at the young age of 37.

In a tribute to Ekwe, Ekweremadu condoled him and his family over their loss, stating that it was a huge and painful loss not only to him and his entire family given the fond memories, bond and companionship they shared over the years, but also to his numerous friends, associates and well wishers.

Adding that she lived a worthy life leaving behind enormous goodwill that will keep her memories aglow for a long time, he said “she will always be remembered as a devoted and cherished wife, a doting mother, a dearly beloved daughter, sister and aunt. She will be sorely sorely missed by all. The pages of history will also be kind to her.

“On behalf of my entire family and constituents, therefore, I send heartfelt condolences to you and the entire family over the huge loss. I also join you in prayers for the peaceful repose of her gentle soul.

“While wishing you the equability to wade through the challenges that this event presents, please accept the assurances of my highest regards and support always”, Ekweremadu said concluding.
