Senator  Representing  Enugu West Senatorial districts in the National Assembly Ike Ekweremadu has lauded the executives of the Udi/Ezeagu  Progress  Alliance  group  led by Ozoh Onyebuchi Ani for galvanising  youths of Udi and Ezeagu local government areas for socio-economic and political emancipation.

Ekweremadu stated this during the ward of  executives inauguration/empowerment programme organised by the Udi/Ezeagu Progressive Alliance (UEPA)  

According to him, the leadership of UEPA,   has shown  so much commitment  and determination  in maintaining  the  aims and objectives of the association which remains  uniting the people from  the Constituency  together  under one interest .

“He stated ” since the UEPA has said this is where we are  standing , i   stand with them also, i will continue  to give you my support like i have always done before  

“Am assuring you that we will continue  to support  the Empowerment  and i encourage all the beneficiaries  who have  made it in this first set  to make proper use of the opportunity  to enable  the organizers to come back to empower more people

We also  thank God for those who have benefited  from today’s programme  which is the first set and we know that as time goes on , the organisation  will Empower more people.

Ekweremadu  also seized the opportunity  to enjoined the organizers of the UEPA  Empowerment  programme  to make sure they apply  equity in the distribution by  giving everybody  equal opportunities.

Stressing  that  he is convinced  that under the leadership of ozoh and his executive, there will be equity and  justice in the distribution of the Empowerment 

He also commended the  executive Governor  of Enugu  state Rt Honourable  Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi for his support  to UEPA stating that whatever  the Governor  has done for the people of Udi and Ezeagu, he has also  done it for him  

“I commend  the Executive Governor of Enugu state Rt Hon Ifeany Ugwuanyi for the support he gave UEPA today  by Empowering more people in support of their flag  off Empowerment programme  today , and i know he will continue to support . May God Continue to bless him for us

Ekweremadu while applauding the Hon.  member  representing  the Udi/Ezeagu federal constituency Hon Dennis Oguerinwa Amadi, who was represented by  Hon. Emmanuel  Ogbuozor, for his proper representation  of the people from the zone also  stated that “it is a rare privilege  that this kind of thing is happening  not just in Udi/Ezeagu federal constituency  but also in his Senatorial district ,so i applaud  the member representing  this zone and the entire leadership  and people of this zone” he stated

Ugamatv  reports that  the inauguration of the UEPA ward executives, which took place at Christ the King Parish, Ngwo Uno, Udi LGA, saw in attendance the Governor of Enugu state  Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi   who flagged off the  Empowerment  programme of  the first 20 youths, with additional  40  beneficiaries which he gave as a support  to the programme  

Meanwhile  beneficiaries  of the UEPA  Empowerment  programme are members of the group and were given  the sum of N50,000 each.
