Ebonyi APC spokesman resigns, says I can’t work with Umahi

The Ebonyi State Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress, Mr Chika Nwoba, has resigned his position.

Nwoba in a statement on Monday expressed gratitude to the APC and its leaders for finding him worthy to be elected to the position in 2018, at the age of 27.

He told our correspondent in a telephone interview that he was leaving the APC because, “I cannot work with Ebonyi State Governor, David Umahi.”

In a related development, the Chairman of the Ebonyi State chapter of the Action Peoples Party, Chinedum Elekwachi, has dumped the party and joined the Peoples Democratic Party.

Elekwachi, disclosed this to newsmen, in Abakaliki, on Tuesday. According to him, he took the decision after consultations with his family, friends, associates and political mentors.
