Businessman and entertainer E-Money, whose real name is Emeka Okonkwo, has voiced his disappointment after popular streamer Carter Efe damaged a car he had gifted him, describing the act as excessive and unnecessary.
The controversy began on Saturday when Carter Efe and fellow content creator Peller reportedly carried out a livestream stunt that led to the destruction of the vehicle.
E-Money addressed the issue on Sunday when both streamers visited him. In a video from the meeting, he expressed displeasure that the car, which he presented as a token of appreciation for Carter Efe’s creativity and hard work, was damaged less than a day after it was given.
He stated that while he valued and supported Carter Efe’s work, he was unhappy with the decision to destroy the car publicly during a livestream, especially with a large audience watching.
According to him, such actions could negatively influence viewers. Although he acknowledged that the damage had already been done and extended forgiveness, he cautioned that the behaviour should not be repeated.
The incident has since generated widespread reactions online, particularly as it followed reports that both Carter Efe and Peller damaged each other’s vehicles during the live broadcast.
