DSS arrests two dismissed officers for impersonation and fraud

The Department of State Services (DSS) has announced the arrest of two dismissed personnel, Barry Donald and Victor Onyedikachi Godwin, on whom it recently issued disclaimers for engaging in fraudulent activities.

Confirming their arrest in a statement on its official X account on Wednesday, October 15, the DSS said the two men will face prosecution in accordance with the law.

“These individuals were alleged to be cloaking under the Service to engage in fraudulent activities. The public is hereby notified that these culprits have been apprehended and will face prosecution in accordance with the law” the statement read

The Service added that it has further resolved to publish the names of other personnel who were dismissed in the past, to prevent citizens from falling victim to the possible criminal intent of any of these individuals.

For requests, enquiries, or complaints, the DSS has directed members of the public to reach it on 09088373515 or via email: dsspr@dss.gov.ng.
