Driver escapes unhurt as gutter swallows SUV in Imo

A driver of an SUV has survived after his car slipped into a gutter that appeared after a heavy downpour in Owerri, the Imo state capital. 

The incident happened at Wetheral junction by Emmanuel College on Friday, September 24. 

A video shared by an eyewitness, Ufomba Chinyere, shows the vehicle almost completely swallowed by the deep gutter. 

Ufomba also confirmed that the owner of the car escaped unhurt.
