DR. KINGSLEY UDEH TAKES NATIONAL STAGE

On this day, history has once again called the name of Dr. Kingsley Tochi Udeh, SAN, this time, to serve our nation as the Honourable Minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

In this appointment by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR, Nigeria witnesses the elevation of excellence, the recognition of merit, and the affirmation that true service and intellect never go unnoticed. It is a national validation of a journey long defined by exceptional brilliance, integrity, and an unrelenting devotion to public good.

Dr. Udeh’s path has been one of quiet distinction. He has risen from the academia to legal advocacy to policy research to politics and governance. As Honourable Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice, Enugu State, he discharged leadership with utmost responsibility, vision and integrity. He brought reform, structure, and innovation to the Ministry of Justice, embodying the transformational ideals of the administration he served under.

For this new call to higher service, gratitude must be rightly directed – first to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. By this appointment, Mr. President has affirmed that Nigeria’s future should be built by those whose records speak louder than rhetoric.

Equally, deep appreciation must go to His Excellency, Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, the Executive Governor of Enugu State – a visionary leader whose keen eye for excellence has never faltered. It was under Governor Mbah’s discerning leadership that Dr. Udeh was given the platform to serve as the chief law officer of the state, and it is through his continued support that this transition to the federal stage has found such grace and harmony. Governor Mbah’s confidence in his team and his readiness to see others rise have again shown the strength of a true leader, one who measures greatness not by how many serve him, but by how many he empowers to serve humanity.

Today, as Dr. Kingsley Udeh steps into national service, he carries with him both his personal honour and the collective pride of Enugu State. Thankfully, Dr Kingsley Udeh’s appointment is well received by all who know him and have witnessed his meteoric rise to several platforms of prominence.

Congratulations to Dr. Kingsley Tochi Udeh, SAN: a scholar, a reformer, and, indeed, a patriot. May this new chapter of national service bring an unusual blessing to our country.

And to Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, thank you for your unwavering belief in capacity and your continual investment in the promise of others. Your leadership remains a seedbed from which greatness continues to bloom.

Congratulations once again, dearest Minister and distinguished Senior Advocate.

Ndi Enugu,

Tomorrow Is Here!

With highest gratitude,

*Prince Ekene Nwanjoku.*
