Former presidential candidate, Kingsley Moghalu, has showered praises on popular disk jockey, Florence Otedola, popularly known as DJ Cuppy.

According to him, the 29-year-old is a good example for Nigerian and African youths.

He said, “In today’s world of glitz and short attention spans, DJ Cuppy is a powerful example to young people in Nigeria & Africa.”

The former deputy governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria shared his sentiments via his verified Twitter account on Friday.

According to him, the entertainer had hosted him in her home in Oxford on Friday, where she paid him homage, saying that “You remind me of why I am so proud to be a Nigerian.”

“I was so touched,” Moghalu tweeted, in appreciation of DJ Cuppy’s high praise. Cuppy is simply brilliant. A master’s degree student of African studies @UniofOxford, she combines glamour and depth of intellectual substance to a degree I found simply impressive. Not surprisingly, she’s planning on taking a Doctor of Philosophy (D.Phil) degree eventually.”

In March, DJ Cuppy revealed through her Instagram page, in a pre-recorded video call with her parents, that she had been admitted into Oxford University, England, for a master’s degree in African Studies.
