Davido Defends Uncle, Osun Governor, Against Critics, Calls Him Best Ever

Nigerian singer, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has claimed that his uncle, Governor Ademola Adeleke, is the best governor Osun State has ever seen.

He said people undermined him because he loves to dance but he has proven himself with his performance in the state.

Davido featured in a recent episode of Culture Knock Out, C.K.O, hosted by Chris and Baloo.

He said, “My uncle, the Dancing Governor is good vibes. He has an amazing story, he is the last born of my dad’s family. They [Osun people] never believed that he would become a governor.

“He is a real example of, ‘Don’t judge a book by its cover’; just because somebody likes to dance and have a good time, it doesn’t mean when it is time to work, he won’t. Now, he’s been the best Governor that they’ve ever had.”
