Jay Boogie, a Nigerian cross-dresser who identifies as a transgender has flashed his ‘growing boobs’ in a see-through top, while decrying misogyny witnessed in marriages. 

Jay Boogie in the Instagram post he shared, claimed that customs and traditions glorifies men and leave the women almost incapable of being respected. 

He stated that these “misogynist mouldees” hide behind religion, politics and the worst of all behind the institution of marriage. The cross-dresser also said that even when a woman does everything in her power to ensure stability, sets her standards and insist that she won’t settle for mediocrity, she is said to not be submissive, abused and taunted for choosing to do the exact same thing a man in the same shoes would get applause for.

Boogie also claimed that most marriages and even family ties have been broken because a woman said she has had enough. 

He wrote; 

Where do we really go from here .you turn to tradition and customs you will come to understand that it glorifies the men and leave the women almost incapable of being respected .You look around you and you will find more misogynist mouldee into form by our forefathers and they hide behind religion ,politics and the worst of all behind the institution of marriage.

When does it end .a woman does everything in her power to ensure stability but society puts things in place to make it harder than it already is.if she sets her standards saying enough is enough and she won’t settle for mediocrity then she isn’t being submissive.she gets abused and taunted for choosing to do the exact same thing a man in the same shoes would get applause for .

The rate at which marriages relationships and even family ties have been broken all because one woman said she wouldn’t take it anymore is appalling .what will it take for us to truly understand that women in these parts deserve better .can’t help but imagine it.
