Corps member found dead in Bauchi lodge

The Bauchi State Police Command has confirmed the d3ath of a serving corps member in Dambam Local Government Area of the state.

 

 

 

 

Sources said the incident was reported at about 9:20 a.m. on Sunday, August 10, 2025.

 

 

 

 

According to the sources, Christian corps members were preparing for church service when they discovered that Mr. Nwokedi Chukwuebuka Gerald, 28, with state code number BA/25A/2069, did not wake up.

 

 

 

A police team visited the scene and conveyed the body to the General Hospital, Dambam, where a medical doctor confirmed him d3ad.

 

 

 

The remains have been deposited at the Federal Medical Centre (FMC), Azare, for preservation.

 

Sources said no foul play was suspected, as there were no marks of violence on the body.

 

 

Investigation is ongoing.
