The Vice-Chancellor, Mountain Top University, Magboro, Ogun State, Prof. Elijah Ayolabi, has said a conducive environment and modern accommodation facility will enhance the learning and performance of students.

Ayolabi said this on Monday during the unveiling of the 440 capacity boys’ hostel in the university.

The hostel which was named, ‘Daniel New Hall’ was unveiled by the Chancellor, Dr Daniel Olukoya, who was represented by the Assistant General Overseer, Research and Publications, Mountain of Fire and Miracles, Pastor Abiodun Ladejola.

He said, “This is a residential building of our university where students will be accommodated and their welfare is taken care of. Without an appropriate accommodation in a conducive environment, learning will be hindered, so we decide to provide a conducive atmosphere to enhance learning and boosts the performance of students.

“It is a twin building, the first one was inaugurated around 2017, it has the capacity for about 330 female students, this is the second one it has capacity for 440 students. Each room is ensuite and it is the best of its kind in Nigeria today. I don’t think there is any university with this kind of accommodation in Nigeria. We want to thank God for making this available, we want to ensure that students have a nice environment where they can study and perform well, we believe that creating a conducive environment will enhance learning and performance.”
