Buhari to decide on COVID-19 lockdown extension today

After four weeks of sit-at-home order, President Muhammadu Buhari will this evening address Nigerians on what next his administration is to do going forward. The President will speak to Nigerians in a nationwide broadcast at 8 PM today, according to a statement by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina.

It will be recalled that the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19 met with president Buhari and offered him input on what would inform his decision on whether to reopen the economy or continue with the lockdown.
