Cardi B opens up on butt reduction surgery, says she was stuck in bed for 3 months

American rapper Cardi B has revealed that she once went through a butt reduction surgery and the recovery process left her on bed rest for three months.

The 32-year-old star made the confession during her viral appearance on the Call Her Daddy podcast, where she addressed constant unsolicited comments about her body.

Cardi, who is currently expecting a child with NFL star Stefon Diggs, explained that people had been telling her to reduce her Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) — but she has actually already done that in the past.

She said sometimes she even wishes her backside was smaller but admitted she wouldn’t go through the stressful procedure again.

“For me to reduce my butt, I have to literally sit on the table, get cut from the bottom, get cut from the top, and be on bed rest for three months,” she explained.

Cardi added that people often underestimate the pain and discomfort of the process. “I think you guys think people just plug something inside my a**hole and just suck it out,” she joked.

The Grammy winner made it clear that she’s now comfortable with her body and doesn’t care what critics say. “I don’t get no complaints from nobody and it is what it is,” she said.

She also touched on wild rumors claiming her boyfriend dumped her because her BBL “stinks.” Cardi strongly denied this, saying she is very particular about her hygiene.

“I don’t know who made the rumors that BBLs stink, but it doesn’t … stink. How will a BBL stink if you have no open wounds?” she asked, confirming her relationship with Diggs is “good.”

Back in 2022, Cardi had already opened up about dissolving 95% of previous butt injections while also warning fans about the dangers of cosmetic surgery.
