BREAKING: Twitter deletes Buhari’s genocidal tweet

Twitter has taken down the tweet by President Muhammadu Buhari which suggests that they are ready to unleash another genocide on the people of the South East as a response to the security situation in the region.

The president had in a long post made on twitter on Tuesday, said that “Many of those misbehaving today are too young to be aware of the destruction and loss of lives that occurred during the Nigerian Civil War.

Those of us in the fields for 30 months, who went through the war will treat them in the language they understand.”

This tweet sparked off reactions and condemnations from people across regions and party lines and so many persons reported that particular tweet for spreading hate speech.

Responding, the management of twitter took the tweet down for violating their rules.

“This tweet violated twitter the rule,” is the response when you try to view that particular tweet.
