BREAKING: Stray bullet kills woman as gunmen, security operatives clash in Imo

A businesswoman was shot dead on Tuesday afternoon as gunmen and security operatives engaged in a gun duel in Owerri, the Imo State capital.

The shoot-out was as a result of the attacked on Orji Divisional Police Headquarters, which hoodlums burnt.

The woman, who sold provisions at Hardel junction, Orji, near the scene of the incident was hit by the flying bullet in her shop.

Her corpse was lying on the floor as her relatives and neighbors wailed helplessly.

The victims, who was in her sixties was a grandmother, our correspondent was told.

Also, another person was hit by a stray bullet on her leg.

The girl was said to be filming the scenario when the stray bullet hit her on one of her legs.
