Security operatives have successfully rescued 13 passengers of Benue Links Transport Company who were abducted at Eke in Okpokwu Local Government Area of Benue State.

 

According to UGAMA TV, the victims were freed through a coordinated joint operation involving the Nigeria Police and local vigilante groups. Details of the rescue mission remain limited, but the operation has been hailed as a significant breakthrough in the fight against kidnapping in the region.

 

Authorities have not yet confirmed if any arrests were made during the operation or if the kidnappers escaped.
