A  popular Enugu blogger and a social media activist,  Comrade Akpa Francis together with Obinna Mamah and Joshua Ogbonna, administrators of a popular WhatsApp  group called ‘Political Forum’ who were arrested some time in Enugu has been released. 

The arrest of the above was as a result of a petition written by Barister Ifeanyi Ossai to the state police command on alleged character assassination by one Chief Damian Odo

Meanwhile Barrister Ifeanyi Ossai, who  petitioned the State Police command, Enugu, against Chief Odo, alleging character assassination among other things also joined the administrators of the platform, and that was how Akpa and co got involved.

Barister Ossai  who  was already  visibly angry , felt he had no option, than to round up the groups admins, with the hope that Chief Odo would surface afterwards led to the arrest of the above three mentioned. 

It could be recalled  that Prince Odunze Ik Okolo who is the Chairman  of Pendulum  Communications had taken to his  social media handle to plead to the Governor on the realease of the three.   

He stated, “I hereby plead, on behalf of PENDULUM COMMUNICATION LTD, that our dear Governor, Chief Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, should please prevail on his bosom friend, Barrister Ifeanyi Ossai, to see reason to have this matter resolved and have these men released.  This has become a moral burden, which the Governor must solve, or continue to bear”
