THE indigenes of Awgu local government area in Enugu state has in a unanimous agreement, offered their vote of confidence to every elected Political officials within their local government area in a meeting Currently holding in the area.

They have pledged their allegiance to officials including the Chairman of the local government council, Hon. Pedro Okwudili Okonkwo, Chief Whip, Enugu state house of Assembly, Hon. Jane Eneh, Enugu state house of Assembly Member representing Awgu South constituency, Hon. Johnson Chukwuobasi.

Also, The Deputy Minority leader, House of representatives, Rt. Hon. Toby Okechukwu, A former Deputy president of the Senate, Sen. Ike Ekweremadu, The Executive Governor of Enugu, Rt. Hon Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi.

Present in the meeting are all the stakeholders, traditional institutions, rulers and other indigenes of Awgu local government area of Enugu State.
